ROCHESTER CITY CHAMPIONSHIP
Jump in on the action and sign up for the city championship.
When: Thu 2nd April - Sunday 5th April
Where: Initial matches to be played weeknights at the Genesee Valley Club. Semifinals and finals on Sat/Sun at UR courts.
Skill levels: Beginner, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0
Prizes and goodies: Squash gear (sponsored by Bell Racquet Sports)and a box of Dunlop balls for each division winner. Plus tournament t-shirt (Sponsored by AVS Activewear) for all entrants (sign up early before March 20th for size guarantee). Also join us for the Party with the Pros on Friday night. Plenty of food and drink.
Signup deadline: Sunday March 30th 2009
Entry fee: RSRA/USSquash members and students - $20, Non members - $35, (Not a member? Join RSRA/USSquash.

This is a US Squash sanctioned event. This means that all match results will count toward your national rating/ranking (You must be an RSRA/USSquash member for this to apply).

INSTRUCTIONS:
Thursday and Friday matches are at the Genesee Valley Club. Both evenings are quite full and the matches are staged on a 40 minute cycle. Please be there 30 minutes in advance and ready to play. You can park in the back parking lot and enter through the back door, go upstairs. Find Chris Thomas or Morgan Smith to sign in, pay the fee and get your t-shirt.

Saturday and Sunday matches are at the U of R Goergen facility. You can park in the library lot. Walk down the hill (Library Rd), the Goergen center is on the left at the bottom of the hill. Tell the front desk you’re here for the squash tournament, then follow the signs to the courts. You will be asked to sign a waiver at the front desk.

Match losers are asked to referee the following match, or find a substitute if they can’t stay or are inexperienced. One or two volunteers for the first matches and fill in would be appreciated.
