The Rochester ProAm aims to inspire local squash by infusing the Rochester squash community with immersive experiences of a professional squash tournament: by personally meeting players, and watching them compete. The ProAm can offer you a most immersive experience of professional squash when you host a player. Our squash community has opportunities to interact with professional players by volunteering to host, drive, and getting on the court with them. More information on hosting and driving players is available here.
Cheer for your favorite local player on the first day of the tournament. The ProAm will feature a limited number of top local players, as wildcard entrants, usually a junior and some college players. All other players are top world-ranked players, historically starting around #80. The first day of the tournament is especially exciting because the local players attract passionate fans. Be sure to watch the Match-up schedule below, and come to cheer for your favorite local stars.
